Jewel is a certified therapy dog who loves to be read to. She will be visiting the library on Fridays at 2pm.Jewel is a Samoyed and is Hypoallergenic! Her coat is not fur, but hair and wool.
Read to a dog is a fun program that is proven to boost reading skills. Each reader has the chance to read aloud to a quiet friendly trained therapy dog, Jewel along with her human, Denise.
Please call or visit the front desk to sign-p for a time slot. Penrose Community Library 719-372-6017.
You may bring your own books, read one of Jewel's or borrow a book from the library.
