    Local Penrose artist, Julie Burnham, has "Windcatchers, Flowerz, and Bugz" currently on display at the library. Julie uses scrap steel, old nails, and wire which are welded to create these outdoor metal sculptures. Julie can be reached at (719) 289-4484 or www.windcatchers-etc.com.

    Pottery by local artist, Mary Daly, will be featured May through June. Mary is available at her studio, "Dirty Hands Pottery". 372- 3833

    "I like to make messes! Teaching art in elementary schools and community colleges has allowed me to 'pass on' the joy of making a mess. My fascination is variations on a theme. Clay allows for infinite possibilities. In our modern world, handmade and the inherent imperfections settle my soul."

    Welcoming all teens ages 12 - 16 for weekly enrichment programs. Programs are held on Saturdays from 11 AM to 12:30 PM year around. Refreshments are provided and a onetime registration is required.
